93 days ago on Sept 18, 2022 @Gateway church the Lord ask me a question for the 6th week in a row. I finally responded with conviction that He wanted me to take action and it would be for a big purpose! After every service, Pastor Morris says; ask yourselves…what is the Holy Spirit saying to you today? Well, week 1 He said, Stop drinking. I’m like, huh? I’m pretty tame and rarely abuse drinking God; but He said stop drinking! I argued for 5 weeks in a row and with a LOUD voice He said, STOP DRINKING and trust ME! I was overwhelmed with conviction and immediately made the decision to obey Him. I walked out of church and shared with my family and they couldn’t believe it:-). It has been an amazing decision and I am so excited to see how God is positioning me to share my story with those that need the same break through in their lives. If you have loved ones that are struggling in this area, please allow me to share my story with them. My hope is that I could plant a seed that just might move those struggling a little closer to victory and freedom from this horrible addiction. To close, and FYI…. I did the same thing with drug addiction many years ago. Thank you Jesus for always being available to us and for Your unfailing love and forgiveness!!! Big Blessings to you, Bret
