(If you st like me and have been severely hurt by those you love this post might repel you at first BUT trust the voice of God in it and receive freedom today from the revelation found in it) Here are my revelations from God on this controversial topic this far: God has really been speaking to me about the following verse: Matthew 5:24 “Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.” The word reconcile is the word he highlighted to me: reconcile rĕk′ən-sīl″ intransitive verb To reestablish a close relationship between. To settle or resolve. To bring (oneself) to accept. To make compatible, harmonious, or consistent. To reestablish a close relationship, as in marriage. To become compatible, harmonious, or consistent. The Lord wants our heart posture to be one of surrender. He wants us to be a living sacrifice. He desires that we lay it all down so that the world can see Jesus in us. Wisdom will guard our lives and we must seek wisdom in all circumstances to determine next steps. I believe that there are custom solutions for each situation but they have to be anchored to the word of God for them to be successful. Our heart is what God desires and often when we put up boundaries we kick others out who hurt or harmed us but if we are not careful, we can also create a stronghold for ourselves that will keep us inaccesible to the love of Christ as well. May the Holy Ghost be sought un all matters of the heart with wisdom and discernment, through love. 😊
